Deportation order stays
PA Wellington ,An Australian man. who escaped from prison in New Zealand and remained at large for 103 days, has had his appeal against a deportation order declined. David Stewart Hounslow, aged 35, wished to remain in touch with his son. Stewart, aged five, who lives with his mother in New Zealand. Deportation would be unduly harsh, counsel. Mr J. Haigh, submitted to the Deportation . Review Tribunal. But in its written decision, the tribunal supported the deportation order made by the Minister of Immigration (Mr Malcolm) against Hounslow in February.
