Pay dispute settled

PA Hamilton Kinleith pulp and paper workers, who went on strike last month over a prolonged pay issue, accepted a settlement yesterday. The Pulp and Paper Workers’ Union Kinleith branch secretary, Mr Keith Challender, said N.Z. Forest Products had offered a 10 per cent pay rise and 22.7 per cent rise in shift allowances.
