Award to victim
A woman who suffered a personality change 'ifter being attacked by the Yorkshire Ripper, Fteter Sutcliffe, has been awarded damages of $23,940. Marilyn Moore, aged 30, was awarded $18,240 for pain, suffering, and loss of amenity, and $5700 for loss of employment prospects. Sutcliffe, who admitted liability, was also ordered to pay the costs. He is serving life for 13 murders and se(en 'attempted murders. -(London.
