Upset win to Mustard
NZPA Solihull, England David Mustard, .of New Zealand, scored an upset 6-2, 6-0, victory over the top seed, Freddie Sauer, of South Africa, in the second round of a $50,000 satellite tennis tournament in Solihull yesterday. Mustard won the last 10 games of the match, Sauer
picking up only seven points in the second set.
Hole-in-one
An Avondale member, Vai Mac Kay, made a rewarding visit to Windsor recently. Competing in that club’’s mid-week women’s tournament, she holed-in-one at the 104 m par-3 sixteenth hole, using a No. 5 wood.
