Stamp owner sought
Many collectors who have had stamps removed from their albums have been in touch with the Papanui police, but the owner of a considerable quantity of a recent stamp issue found by the police has still to be found. There 1 had been a good response from the public after publicity about the stamps, but most were collectors seeking their own items. The stamps found would probably have been lost by a business or be “leftovers” from a post office burglary, a police spokesman said.
