Minister to attend Asian conference
PA Wellington . The Associate Minister of Finance (Mr Falloon) will represent New Zealand at the fifteenth annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank in Manila this month. Mr Falloon, who will leave New Zealand on April 23 and return on May 2, will also visit Singapore where he will deliver the Anzac Day address to New Zealand forces and meet local representatives of major investment and banking groups. The Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation (Mr Gair)
will attend the annual meetings of the South Pacific Regional Shipping Council and the Civil Aviation Council in Rarotonga next week. Mr Gair will be in the Cook Islands from Tuesday, April 20, until Sunday, April 25. The meetings will be attended by shipping and civil aviation Ministers from throughout the South Pacific. It is expected that the performance and financial position of the Pacific Forum Line and international civil aviation will be topics of interest.
