Govt wins approval
NZPA London At least eight out of 10 Britons approve of their Government’s countermeasures against Argentina's military occupation of the Falklands, according to a poll published in the weekly “Economist." Eighty per cent of respondents applauded Britain's declaration of a "war zone” around the islands, ■ 84 per cent were in .favour of .the boycott against imports from Argentina, and 83 per cent agreed with the decision to send a Royal Navy armada to the South Atlantic.
