Chch printing firm wins arts awards

Novaprint, a Christchurch printing firm, has. won two of the New Zealand Forest-Pro-ducts Graphic Arts Awards, announced at the seventyfifth annual conference of the Printing Industries Federation last evening. Novaprint won the award for the best single colour printing by any method, and the - award for the best screen-printing. The company was also highly commended in the screen-print-ing section. K. Wright Graphics, of Auckland, won the award for four-colour process printing (sheet fed); Whitcoulls, Ltd, of Auckland, was highly commended. Tanner Couch, Ltd, of Auckland, won the award for multi-colour printing (including four-colour process print-

ing), and Whitcoulls, Christchurch,' was highly commended. The winner of the award for multi-colour printing by any method other than fourcolour process (sheet-fed) was the Government Printing Office, which was. also highly commended in the same -section, as was Whitcoulls, Auckland. Domino Marketing, Auckland, won the award for multi-colour printing by any method other than four-col-our process (reel fed). The Government Printing Office won the award for soft-cover publications and Whitcoulls, Christchurch won the award for hard-cover publications. ' Collins Bros Stationery, Ltd, of Auckland, was commended.
