The plant has a reputation for efficient production based on a stable and skilled workforce and staff with high utilisation resulting from a long season. Due to retirement the company is seeking to appoint a General Manager to head up the existing management team covering the functions of livestock procurement, slaughtering, processing and packaging, engineering, quality control, accounting, finance and administration. The existing staff collectively would be one of the most experienced in the industry.
