The company specialises in the processing of | raw materials to the final product stage, and distribution to end users in bulk or | unitised containers. . b The positions have been created as part of a planned programme to strengthen the company's materials handling and distribution network in the context of the various industrial developments planned within New Zealand over the next decade. SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER Responsibility is for the conceptual and detailed design work for matenalshandling plants to be located throughout New Zealand, and advising on the acquisition of appropriate ancillary equipment. The position will be of particular interest to an engineer of broad practical experience in design work, with some background in materials handling. Minimum educational requirement is a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR Responsibility is for contract planning and administration of plant construction, including liaison with local authorities and negotiations with sub contractors and materials suppliers. It is expected that several plants will be undei construction simultaneously, and the proven ability to cope with the complexities and demands of plant construction and installation is essential. The preferred educational requirement is a BE degree in Civil Engineering, ■ although people without this qualification who have an outstanding background in the field should not be deterred from applying. The appointment may be arranged on contract for a 2-year term, should this be preferred by the successful candidate. Both positions demand a level of experience and maturity that is most likely to be found in people aged over 30 years.
