Committee of The Sydenham Rugby Football Club (Inc.) a duly incorporated society having its registered office at its Clubrooms 303 Colombo Street, Christchurch, has made application to the Secretary of the Licensing Control Commission of New Zealand for a Club Licence in respect of its Premises at 303 Colombo Street, Christchurch, to authorise the sale and disposal of liquor for consumption on the premises al the following times:— (a) As ancillary to the principal activity of Rugby Football during the period February 1 to October 31 on the following days. Mondays and Tuesdays between the hours of 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., Wednesdays between the hours of 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., Thursdays between the hours of 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., Fridays between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., Saturday between the hours of 1 p.m. and 11 p.m., Sundays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Club socials on the last Saturday of each of the following months: March, April. Also 12 permits to be used where the day becomes required (function to be arranged over night) 8 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. (Sunday). (b) During the period November 1 to January 31 for the purpose of the promotion of the games of softball. Wednesdays 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Club Is active in the promotion of Rugby Football and Softball in the Christchurch area. The objective of the Club is to foster the growth of the sport and to regulate the Club’s Rugby and Softball activities and those who take part for the better enjoyment of all participants. Throughout the week the Club holds activities such as Committee Meetings. Subcommittee Meetings, Instruc-. tion Courses (Coaching and First Aid). Social Activities, Films, Lectures and the like. Any person who wishes to object to the issue of a licence to the Application may no later than 10 days after the first publication of this notice, file notice of his or her objection and grounds thereof with the Secretary of the Licensing Control Commission of Wellington.
