Youth leaders
More than 60 people have responded to a call from the Canterbury Youth Groups Promotion Council for youth leaders. A workshop on "Introduction to youth needs' will be held at the Christchurch Teachers' College on March 20. It aims to increase leadership skills and the ability to com'mnicate with young people. Places are still available at the workshop and persons wishing to take part should apply to the Christchurch City’Council Mayoral Office or youth organisations.
