Buildings burgled
The staff of eight commercial buildings on Riccarton Road arrived at work yesterday morning to find that their premises had been broken into during the weekend. The premises included a clothing shop, health food shop, chinaware shop, furniture factory, duplicating centre, and a carwash. A rear door of the health food shop was forced, the back ripped off a safe, and about $7OO in cash removed. Petty cash was taken from the chinaware shop, but it was not known what had been taken from the other premises.
