Rushton’s late league charge
Alan Rushton and Chris Menzies, who have both been regular South Island rugby league representatives in recent years, have been given late chances of selection for the team to take part- in the KB Cup tournament in Australia. They have been included in the Invitation XIII to oppose the “shadow” South, Island side at the Show Grounds this evening. The notable features of the “shadow” line-up are the placing of the West Coast hooker, John Griffin, at prop,
