PA Palmerston North The holders, Taranaki, and hosts, Manawatu, are two of the favoured teams for the depleted national rugby seven-a-side tournament finals today in Feilding. The two have been drawn against each other in the second pool in a match which could decide the out- ' come of the title. Other teams in the pool
are Marlborough and Southland while the first pool comprises Auckland, Canterbury. ’Hawkes Bay and Manawatu B. Manawatu have won the title in 1977, 1978 and 1979. Taranaki will be headed by the All Black captain, Graham Mourie, making his first appearance in the competition since 1975. His All Black team-mate, Dave Loveridge, will also be playing.
