Airport delays
NZPA Sydney Delays in aircraft movements at Sydney’s Mascot Airport are expected today rather than cancellations, after last evening’s resumption of industrial action byradar and radio technical officers. The action is expected to end later today, but further and prolonged action will be considered next week. The Professional Radio and Electronics Institute said yesterday that the action was the continuation of a dispute about a year ago when its members were on strike for three weeks over reclassifications and career structure for staff.
