New job for Dr Brash
PA Auckland Dr Donald Brash, the National Party’s unsuccessful East Coast Bays’ candidate in last year’s General Election, has been appointed managing director of the Kiwifruit Authority. Dr Brash, who is at present general manager of
planning and development with Fletcher Challenge, Ltd’s finance and computer sector, will take up the new job on April 1. He said that it would be challenging because of a twelve-fold increase in kiwifruit export volume expected by 1990. 11,1 ■
