Concern about ‘Dominion’ ban
j PA. Wellington i Parliament’s Press Gallery journalists yesterday decided to express concern that the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Rowling) had banned reporters of the “Dominion” from his office. According’to a “Dominion” report yesterday, Mr Rowling said that the newspaper : had misreported and misin- ■ terpreted regional meetings j of the party over the last ■ two week-ends, in particular ! on the union-affiliation issue. Mr Rowling plans to take a case to the Press Council. The secretary of the Journalists’ Union, Mr Tony Wilton, expressed concern about the ban in a letter to Mr Rowling yesterday.
