Canty sevens selection

Bruce Deans, the promising young Lincoln College half-back, will join his older brother, Robbie, in the Canterbury team for the national final in Feilding on Saturday of the Fresh Up rugby seven-a-side tournament.

The other six members of the side, the first to be named by the new Canterbury selector, Alex Wyllie, are Don Hayes, who will be the captain, Jock Hobbs, Anthony Dalzell, Bill Anderson, Craig Green and Wayne Smith.
