Sunken rig found

The oil drilling rig Ocean Ranger has been found upside down on the ocean floor near where it disappeared on February 15 with the loss of 34 lives, Mobil Oil Canada, Ltd, says. “Although the data is sketchy and inconclusive, it has been determined that the rig is lying upside down in about 80 metres of water about 90 metres east of the wellhead,” it said. — St John’s.
