Record ewe price?
PA Invercargill What is believed to be a national record price paid for four-shear ewes was realised at the annual Lorneville draft ewe fair on March 4.
A line of 751 pre-lamb shorn Romney ewes was sold on account of the estate of George Wadworth, Highfield, Otapiri Gorge, for 544 a head.
