Redundancy
Sir,—l would like to congratulate “The Press” on itseditorial, “After a costly meat strike”. It is an admirable piece of .writing — lucid, restrained, succinct and impeccably phrased. It points up the need for a nation-wide acceptance of the raison d’etre of redundancy payments and the limits that should be set for them throughout • industry. In today’s economic climate nothing could be more urgent — Yours, etc., GRAHAM RHIND. March 5, 1982.
