Award for Camaro
NZPA Los Angeles The Chevrolet Camaro (228), made by the General Motors Corporation, has been named as America’s 1982 Car of the Year. Motor Trend magazine, which has been giving the award since 1949, said the Camaro was selected from 11 nominations because it exhibited the best engineering, design and execution of all the new cars on the market. .
