Cricket test drawn
NZPA-Reuter Kanpur. India India and England have drawn the sixth and last cricket test at Kanpur giving India the rubber for the first time in contests between the two countries since 1972-73. A bright century by the Indian all-rounder, Kapil Dev, allowed the series to end on a higher note than
expected. This was the fifth dull draw in a verv forgettableseries. India won the only decided test, the first at Bombay, by 138 runs. That was also the only match dominated by the bowlers who otherwise slogged it out against batsmen trying to grind them into the dust.
