CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL LINWOOD AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION LINWOOD AVENUE, between the Aidwins Road/Buckleys Road intersection and Worcester Street, is currently being reconstructed by the City En- , gineer's Department. Between Cashel Street and Worcester Street the carriageway is being completely renewed and traffic will be redirected from time to time. The work commenced on Monday February 1 and should be completed by the middle of March, To avoid undue delays, particularly at peak times, motorists are advised to select an alternative route. J. H. This seminar aims to provide' the first-time computer user with a basic understanding, in non-technical language, of how a computer works; of the methods of analysing their present operations and determining new system requirements: of examining the costs and options available in computer processing; and the steps to be taken in planning and implementing the installation of a computer. Although aimed at small businesses it has been found that these seminars prove beneficial to larger companies who send senior executives to learn something about computers.
