A craftsman clockmaker adds the finishing touches to a moonphase skeleton clock, one of a limited edition of 100, designed and hand produced using traditional skills. Made in Britain, the clock has a spring-driven, eight-day movement, hand tooled in solid brass, with a large, 400tooth main wheel. The intricate clock face has enamelled hands and features coloured enamel discs with roman numerals on the time dial and arabic figures on the inner dial giving the date. The clock takes its name from the opaque, elegantly engraved face at the top that show’s the phases of the moon. Complementary skeleton “timepiece” is also available in a limited edition of 100.
