Success for Aust. team
The Emu Colts cricket team of Northern New South Wales ended their cricket visit to the South Island with a 30-run win against the Canterbury Kiwi Colts at Burnside Park yesterday. This gave the tourists three wins and three draws from their six games. Canterbury was set 236 runs to win with ample time and was well on the - way to its objective at 158/3. However after Max Bremner was dismissed for a
tidy 88 the game quickly swung the visitors’ way. The last Canterbury wicket fell with five and a half overs left. Chris Hamilton with six for 43 off 24.3 overs led the Emus to their victory and this gave him 13 wickets for the match.Scores —
