Only Gammalight and Jikk Adios, on 10m, and Koala King and Pure Steel, on 15m, have been handicapped behind the front for the InterDominion Championship series, which begin in Perth on March 5. The champion Perth pacer, San Simeon, was also handi- ; capped on 10m, but he was i withdrawn from the series at the time the handicaps were 'declared. San Simeon is reported to have been sold for a price . approaching ?2M. retirement of Armalight practically ended any thoughts of a representative from this country. Tentative approaches were made to the connections of Hands Down and Bonnie’s Chance, but they all turned down the trip for this year at least.
