THE PRESS Annual FUN RIDE WAITANGI DAY Saturday, Feb. 6, 1982 9 a.m. Starting and finishing outside Princess Margaret Hospital 3 COURSES 40km 60km & 100 km All going through Tai Tapu to Lincoln. The 40km coming back to Christchurch through Ladbrooks, The 60km and 100 km continuing through Springston South, the 60km returning to Christchurch through Lincoln and Ladbrooks. The 100 km going through Motukarara, Gebbies Pass, Teddington, Governors Bay, Lyttelton, Sumner and to the finish outside Princess Margaret Hospital. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: This is a fun ride and not a race. Everybody is eligible to enter but you will need a good level of fitness. You must realise that you are responsible for your own food, refreshments, clothing, puncture and repair gear, etc. There will be some shops open on the routes. ENTRY FEE: 50c entry fee.
