Favourites’ first win
PA Nelson The series favourites, Jock Bilger and Jack Hansen, had their first win in the national Flying Dutchman yachting series on Tasman Bay on Tuesday. The Tamaki Yacht Club members sailed Wings home ahead of their clubmates and series leaders, Andy Ball and
Bob Eastmond, in Lamb Chop. Christchurch’s consistent pairing of Bryan Treleavan and Jack Collingwood finished third. Conditions were “flukey” for the third race in the series with the seas building up but very little wind present.
