Mr J. D. Bull (above), director and general manager of Associated British Cables. Ltd, who will retire on January 28. Mr Bull was appointed general manager in April. 1962. and joined the board of his company on January ]. 1963. He will remain on the board until April -26. Mr Bull is also a director of the Christchurch Gas Coal and Coke Company. Coal and Energy N.Z.. the Stag Corporation. and Tait Electronics. He is a life member of the Canterbury Manufacturers' Association and was president of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation in 1973-74. He is a past chairman of the Building Research Association, and is a member of the New Zealand Energy Research and Development Committee.
