Bad day for cyclists
Christchurch’s bicycle riders must have been affected by the heat yesterday. Three of the four accidents the St John Ambulance had to attend in the city last evening involved cyclists. The ambulance service was called out to Kilmore
Street and Lake Terrace Road. Burwood, after riders fell off their bicycles and injured themselves. Another call was to Clyde Road, Fendalton after a car and a bicycle collided outside the Fendalton Library. None of the riders was seriously injured.
