A suitable Industrial Relations Officer is required for secondment to the firm of Project Managers. The duties will include undertaking pre-negotiation research for a site agreement, liason with contractors at pre and post-tender stages as well as on the job, and providing advice, assistance and advocacy services to the Construction Manager on industrial matters. A brief period of initial training in Australia is also envisaged. Applicants should have several years of relevant line management or specialist I.R. experience, preferably in the construction industry, but enquiries will be considered from other backgrounds where the necessary personal skills can be demonstrated.
