Man dies in house fire at Waimea West
PA '< Nelson A man died in a house fire at Waimea West, near Nelson, early yesterday morning. He was J Darcy Howard f'owler, aged 65. who was badly crippled and lived alone in the five-bedroom house. The house was a family homestead more than 100 years old and full of antiques. The house was insured but not .the contents, which were valued about $lOO,OOO relatives said yesterday.
