Hurt boy discharged
PA . Auckland A Green Bay schoolboy, who was flown to .Auckland Hospital on Sunday by an R.N.Z.A.F. helicopter after falling 20 metres down a Whatipu rock face, was discharged on Monday morning. Blair Aickhurst, aged 16, of Whatipu, had been climbing the face of Nine Pin Rock when he lost his footing and fell into a narrow stretch of water between rocks. Two -men went .to the scene in a tractor and dragged him from the water.
Ambulancemen decided to seek the airlift when it was thought that the boy was suffering from back injuries . iii addition to bad grazing.
