Darwinism
Sir,—Arthur May’s classification of Christians who reject the theory of evolution (December 15) is nonsense. There are thousands of Christian Scientists and other educated intellectuals who reject evolution (the Creation Research Society of America, for example, numbers over 500 M.Sc. and Ph.D. scientists on its rolls). This would certainly not be the case if evolution were as obvious as many scientists say it is. Arthur May claims creationists can present no evidence for the Creation
theory. Again this is nonsense. It is significant that evolutionists have never yet been able to produce clear-cut evidence, either in the fossil world or in the living world that one species has evolved into another. This is, of course, a fundamental prediction of the Creation model — that all species were created distinct and reproduce after their own kind. The Creation theory is at least as viable as the evolutionary theory and to deprive children or anybody from knowing the Creation theory is nothing less than censorship — Yours, etc., ERIC WOLTERS.
