New bus link with Dunedin
A new overnight passenger bus service ■ - between Christchurch and Dunedin will start on Monday. The service, which will be run by the Railways, will connect with the Christchurch-Picton passenger train. The bus will leave the Christchurch railway station at 10 p.m. oh Monday after the arrival of the PictonChristchurch train and will
arrive at the Dunedin railway station, about 4 a.m. The service will run from Mondays to Fridays, inclusive. The Dunedin service will leave the railway station at 12.30 a.m. and will arrive in Christchurch about 6.40 a.m. in time to catch the Picton train. This service will run from Tuesdays to Saturdays, inclusive. The bus will also carry mail and freight.
