Khmer move genuine?
PA Wellington New Zealand would welcome any genuine move by the Khmer Rouge to transform its organisation and create a genuine coalition in opposition to the Vietnamese-sponsored Government in Kampuchea, ac-
cording to sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The sources said yesterday that New Zealand was still seeking “hard information” on a Khmer Rouge broadcast on Monday which asserted that the organisation’s Communist party had been disbanded.
