Sheep skin prices up

The only change in meat and skin prices to farmers for stock killed for export is an increase in prices for sheep skins. This is a reflection of a pelt improvement. Skins with wool pulls of 0.2 and 0.25 kilograms, which previously had no value, have a value again —15 c and 24c respectively. Skins with bigger wool

pulls show price increases ranging from 5c for skins with o.3kg to 0.55 kg of wool to 20c for skins with 1.25 kg of wool and more. A skin with o.skg of wool is now worth 69c. with one kilogram 178 c. 1.5kg'293c and 2kg 426 c. The supplementary payments on lamb, sheep meat and beef are unchanged.
