BEVINGTON, Tara Margaret — On December 2. 1981, at Ashburton, cherished granddaughter of Mrs M. George. Sinnott Road, Greymouth and Mr and Mrs Bevington, Whangarei, much loved niece of Molly and Ronson Clarke, and Margaret and Ace Boustridge. Dawn and the late Chas George (all of Greymouth), and a loved cousin, in her 11th year. Sadly missed. The Funeral service will be held Tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 a.m., at Holy Trinity Church. England) — Dearly loved eldest son of the late Emma and Charles Blake, and loved brother of Nelson, Doreen, and Douglas. COATES, Ivan William, Of Dunedin Street. Redwood — On December 3. 1981. at Christchurch, dearly beloved husband of Eileen, loved father of Ivan (Auckland), treasured father-in-law of Laura, and loved grandfather of Gillian, Nigel, and Vivienne; aged 72 years. ESSEX, John Albert (Jack) — on December 2. 1981. at The Princess Margaret Hospital, loved only son of the late James and Clarissa Essex (Greymouth), dearly loved brother Tin-law of Margaret and the late Ted Case, and Betty and Gary Kirk, and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews; in his 62nd year. Riccarton, loved eldest daughter of the late Blythe and Beatrice Mitchell, of Riccarton, and dearly loved sister of Lester Mitchell, George Mitchell (Pukekohe), Beatrice Wilby (Christchurch), and the late Frank and Lucy (Mrs McLean). HEGAN, Ethel May — On December 3. 1981, at Christchurch, dearly loved wife of Murray Hegan (Southbrook), loved mother of Helen. James. Bernard, and Jean, and loved grandmother of all her grandchildren; aged 75 years. At rest. A graveside service will be held at the Eyreton Cemetery. South Eyre Road, Eyreton, on Monday. December 7. at 11 a.m. Gulliver and Tyler. Ltd, Rangiora. HOPE, Arthur Howard (Tom) — On December 3.1981, at Taupo, dearly loved husband of Margaret (79 Shepherds Road, Taupo), much loved father and father-in-law of Frances and Andrew Nation (Waipawa). Tim and Margaret (Porongahau), and Jeremy and Mary (England), and loved grandfather of 12 grandchildren and four greatgrandsons. Privately cremated.
