R Dowling. Has finished third in his last two starts and should quit maiden ranks against moderate opposition. FEILDING RUBINO (Race 9), br c. 3yrs by In The Purple—Alison; trained by M. Smith at Awapuni. Talented colt, unlucky not to have won before now. Ran on strongly for fourth last start after’meeting trouble. NEW BRIGHTON JENOVER (Race 2), b m, 6yrs. bv Gerry Mir- Zenover: trained at'Rangiora by R- L. Tatterson. Has not trotted a really bad race for some time. This field does not look to be particularly strong and she should win.

Has plenty of ability and should go oh with it. THAMES GAINES ONE (Race 5), br f. 2yrs. by Gaines Minbar— Roval Sally: trained at Matarigi bv C’. Butler. Lone start’ yielded impressive victory oh the course late in October. Should again prove more than a match for both her tried and untried rivals in tomorrow night's field. WAIRIO BEAUDIENE’S BYRD (Race 6), b f. 3yrs by Nardin's ByrdWave Eyre; trained by 0. Cameron at Winton. Smart filly improving all the time. Good race first up this season when second to Kawerau Doon and sure to be all the better .tor that. WELLINGTON VOLARE (Race 9), b c. 3yrs by Avaray—Boldetta: trained bv Malcolm Smith at Awapuni. Impressive third to Altitude in Levin Turf Classic last start and will not find it as tough here. Should win at weight-for-age scale.
