Airship body set up

PA Auckland An association to promote the use of airships in NewZealand will be formed. The association, to be known as The New Zealand Airship Association, includes among its aims the building of a small, experimental airship suitable for services in New Zealand.

A meeting to found the association has been held in Auckland and one of the organisers. Mr Chris Sacatos. an aviation designer, said members believed the airship was vital to the future of New Zealand. It would save fuel, had no pollution problems, and was a labour-intensive form of transport.
