‘Pro-life’ survey

Eleven Parliamentary candidates of the 31 in the 10 Ghristchurch and surrounding electorates have replied affirmatively to a questionnaire asking them if they supported the principles of "pro-life" advocated by the Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child. Eight candidates refused to reply. Three electorates had no candidates supporting the "pro-life" stance,- while another four had one candidate each. The remaining three electorates had two or more candidates who supported "pro-life.” The seven-question questionnaire was organised by the Christchurch branch of S.P.U.C.
