Thanksgiving dinner
Preparations for the traditional Thanksgiving Day roast turkey dinner tomorrow have begun at the United States Navy support force base at Christchurch Airport.
The usual dishes of roast tom-turkey with cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie for dessert would be on the menu, said the supply officer at the base,. Lieutenant M. G. Vanston.
