China to compete
NZPA-Reuter Peking China will take part in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul in spite of the fact that it does not recognise South Korea, a senior Chinese official said yesterday. “As a member of the Olympic movement we will go wherever the Games are held.’’ the official said. The Chinese are closely allied with North Korea and regularly refer to the South Korean Government as a “fascist clique."
