Disabled “No Different From You” is a UNESCO three-pro-gramme series , being broadcast by the Concert Programme in this International Year of Disabled. The programme is made up of J. C. Bach’s Sonata in G, New Zealand composer Edwin Carr’s Suite No. 1 for two pianos, Rachmaninov’s Waltz and Romance from Suite No. 2, Op. 17 and Occam’s Razor by New Zealand composer William Southgate. Concert, 8 p.m. Louis Spohr The early 19th-century German composer Louis Spohr was also violinist and conductor. He was one of the first conductors to use the baton and as a composer his output in the Romantic style was prolific. Spohr’s Symphonic Concertante for violin and; harp can be heard in a new recording from the Friday Concert Programme at 745 p.m. The Lausanne Chamber Orchestra conducted by Armin Jordon has as soloists Pierre Amoyal, violin, and Marielle Nordmann, harp.
