Rise in wool freight rate

PA Wellington The freight rate for all types of wool shipped to Japan and South Korea by the New Zealand Eastern Shipping Committee (N.Z.E.S.C.) is to rise by 2.5 per cent from January 1. 1982, according to the Wool Board's transport and shipping manager. Dr Grant Sinclair.

The increase applies to wool shipped at normal density. Wool shipped at a higher density will get a discount of 8 per cent on the new base- rate.
