Sir,—Wouldn’t it be nice, if one of our multi-storeyed insurance companies not only replaced the Sumner lifeboat, but undertook to sponsor it as well, if only to make a nodding acknowledgement to the life insurance they had been saved over the years—Yours, etc.,
