Top engineer to visit Chch
One of the world’s leading marine engineers will spend Monday evening in Christchurch. - Mr J. McNaught, president of the. Institute of Marine Engineers in London, will be in Christchurch to meet members of the South Island branch of the institute. At the moment he is visiting all institute branches in New Zealand, Australia, - and the Far East. The Marine Engineers’ Institute has about 20,000 members throughout the world. It aims to promote the development of marine engineering and also works with educational institutions to help improve the teaching of engineering. .
