Mr Knox to open office
The president of the Federation of Labour, Mr W. J. Knox, will officially open the office of the Christchurch Unemployment Collective in Cashel Street on Wednesday. The collective, which was formed a year ago, has been using the rented office, at 87 Cashel Street, since about June. The collective is an umbrella group for the Rights Centre, the Crafts Alternative, and the Christchurch Unemployed and Temporary Workers’ Union.
